Our policies
Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
Blueseal Cleaning, Property & Training Consultancy opposes all forms of modern slavery, forced labour, servitude and human trafficking. We aim to act ethically and transparently in our operations and business relationships.
How we work to prevent exploitation
- Recruitment and work must be voluntary, with clear information about roles, pay and working conditions.
- We do not tolerate recruitment fees, retention of identity documents, threats, coercion or unlawful deductions.
- We expect suppliers and contractors to meet applicable labour and human-rights requirements and to raise concerns promptly.
- We use proportionate checks and review concerns in higher-risk work and supply relationships.
- Managers must act on warning signs, protect people who raise concerns, and escalate suspected exploitation for investigation.
Reporting a concern
Staff, learners, suppliers and members of the public can report a concern confidentially to info@the-bluegroup.com. Do not confront a suspected exploiter or put anyone at risk. Where there is immediate danger, contact the emergency services.
Reports will be handled sensitively, assessed promptly and escalated to appropriate authorities where necessary. Retaliation against anyone raising a concern in good faith is not acceptable.
Review
Management reviews this policy and the effectiveness of related controls regularly, and when changes in our operations or risk profile make a review appropriate.
